Take an Inside Look at
Putnam County Habitat for Humanity

Have you ever considered volunteering or donating money to a non-profit organization, but wished you could first have an inside look into that organization. Wouldn't it be helpful if you could get to know them a little first hand?

We are taking that exact approach by hosting brief introductory sessions – Habitat 101. These sessions were created to help educate more residents of the work of PCHFH. We know that a large percentage of our community does not completely understand how our ministry works, so we want to invite interested individuals and groups to our office to spend a few moments with us. Each 45 minute session will provide: a brief history of HFHI and Putnam County Habitat for Humanity, a look into current work and future plans, plus time for questions and answers.

Monthly Habitat 101 sessions will be held at the administrative offices of PCHFH at 728 East 15th Street and the schedule is posted on the Affiliate Calendar for the lunch hour sessions. A light lunch is served. The seating is limited, so reservations are required for all 101's.

"We are willing to take the Habitat 101 on the road to area churches, businesses, and organizations that want to learn about us but need to work around their schedule." according to Ealey. To RSVP to the next Habitat 101 call 528-1711 or email home@pchabitat.org.

LaborReady, a local company providing dependable temporary labor, is proud to support Habitat 101’s this year. The Cookeville Team of Labor Ready is located at 144 South Willow Avenue or by phone at 525-6300.
