Work Group Project Visits
Putnam County in March, 2004

It started in 1982 when 2 couples from Illinois traveled on a Methodist missions trip to build a home. The next year they chose a Habitat for Humanity project and the group has grown over the years. Now in 2004 over 60 individuals from 18 to 70 year olds traveled to Putnam County. College kids from Milligan College in East Tennessee joined the group this year. In five short days this group raised the walls and dried in 3 homes on Burks Lane. It was an amazing experience for everyone and the group enjoyed the hospitality shown by everyone here in Putnam County. Thanks to everyone who helped with this project!
