ReStore : Deconstruction

Saves you time and money when remodeling or renovating

 What is Deconstruction?

Licensed and insured Habitat deconstruction professionals and a team of volunteers travel to your home and remove reusable items. These items are taken to the ReStore Warehouse and sold. Money from sales in the ReStore Warehouse is used towards building homes. This process is free and your donation is tax-deductable.

Are there any costs?

No, currently this program is totally free!

What items do they typically remove?

·         Cabinets

·         Sinks

·         Bathtubs

·         Windows

·         Doors

·         And more!

Do they make a trip to the dump?

No, Habitat only cleans their mess from the removal. For example, if Habitat removes a sink, they only take the sink. They do not remove or haul away unusable pipes or unusable countertops.

How do I get started?

Just call to schedule your free estimate. Habitat will come to your house to determine if you are a candidate for Deconstruction. Then, a date will be set to have the items removed.

Who uses the Deconstruction program?

·         Individual home owners

·         Contractors

·         Businesses
