8 Easy Steps to Meeting Your Goal

1) Create your fundraising page
at www.pchabitat.org
2) Set your personal goal. Whether you
are raising money as an individual or as a team, be realistic.
3) Create a promotional email to
send to family and friends. Share why the program is
important to you and request that family and friends
forward the email and information on to other people.
4) Create a poster to hang in your office,
your church, your favorite hangout (please, check with
Habitat first for approval!)
5) Use Social Media use sites like Twitter,
Facebook, LinkedIn, or Blogger. Update constantly and
consistently; keep your goal fresh in your friend’s minds.
6) Make it Easy! Ask for small donations from
people you don’t expect to get money from. $5 or $10
is a lunch, a couple lattes, or a movie ticket.
7) Host a fundraiser make products to sell,
hold a spaghetti dinner, or have a karaoke party in your
living room. See back of brochure for some great ideas!
8) Say thank you.
Do it in a timely manner!
