Donating unwanted items, such as furniture, appliances, and more, impacts the mission of our ReStore, which is to raise funds so we can build MORE affordable homes for local families. In addition, we're keeping hundreds of tons of materials out of our landfills. If you don't want to pick up a hammer, you can help build more homes by volunteeringdonating and shopping!

Donations of furniture, working appliances, household goods, and building materials from friends, like you are required for us to succeed.  Take a look around your home, basement, garage and storage building to see what you no longer need and can donate to Habitat ReStore.  We provide free pick-up service in Putnam County for larger items.  We accept donations during store hours at our location on East 15th St.  From kitchen sinks, cabinets, to sofas and lamps - we need your donations!!

Interested in joining our family of volunteers with the ReStore? Just let us know! You will attend an orientation and see which of the volunteer positions interest you the most.  Click here to see a schedule.
